VNM has a reputation for setting new standards and introducing innovative concepts to the community. Much like Project Pahal, which aimed to eliminate social stigma and raise awareness about mental health. Incorporating rainbow colors into the traditional VNM Garba, a cherished event of Vadodara city, that has persisted for 23 years, shows VNM’s progressive approach. This year, members of the LGBTQ community actively and gracefully participated, not only contributing to the festivities but also earning recognition and individual prizes.
The atmosphere at the event was warm, fulfilling, and inclusive, providing everyone with an equal opportunity to revel in their inner happiness. People came together, unified by the vibrant colors of the celebration, creating a beautiful picture of unity amidst diversity. The initiative might have sparked initial doubts, but as the event unfolded, it revealed unexpected beauty and unity.
