Two crocodiles were rescued from the city in the past 24 hours. The Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(GSPCA) volunteers said that they got two calls from the different areas on Saturday night.
The first call came from Dumad village where a three feet-long crocodile crawled into an open field.
Another three feet long crocodile was spotted near Visvamitri township by the locals, both were rescued and handed over to forest department.
GSPCA officials often rescue baby crocodiles who often venture out from Vishvamitri river.
